Everyone loves barbeque, and your dog is no exception. It is easy to make barbeque treats for your dog without spending a lot of money on ingredients or a lot of time in the kitchen. And your dog will thank you for the yummy treats with no preservatives that he does not need.

    Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

    Step 2

Pour whole wheat flour, wheat germ and oats into a bowl and mix until well blended.

    Step 3

Add barbeque sauce, vegetable oil, water and egg. Mix together until well blended and doughy.

    Step 4

Roll out enough wax paper to cover a large section of counter. Sprinkle half the cornmeal on the wax paper before placing the dough on top. Sprinkle the rest of the cornmeal on top of the dough. Roll the dough out until it is one-quarter inch thick and cut into small triangles.

    Step 5

Cover a cooking sheet with nonstick spray and place the triangles on it. Bake them for 30 minutes.
